Launched in 2025, Horizon Thoroughbreds is a new and exciting horse racing syndicate dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for horse racing enthusiasts looking to get into ownership. Lead by Racing Manager Ross Sankey, who himself has a breadth of experience in horse ownership - highlights include Royal Ascot-winning Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes victor Signora Cabello. We aim to become a leading player within the syndicate circuit of horse racing, with a view to have horses-in-training across the UK, providing easy access for owners to visit their horses.
Currently we have three horses-in-training, located at Dave Loughnane Racing in Shropshire, as well as John and Sean Quinn Racing based in Malton, Yorkshire. Our small but experienced team are dedicated to ironing out the fine details, ensuring our horses receive the all-important individual, yet meticulous attention to help maximise their potential.
Join us for the journey as we strive to create not only success on the track, but lifetime memories for our members.

We are big fans of the sire Kodi Bear and when Ross Sankey of Horizon Thoroughbreds was stood with trainer Sean Quinn at Tattersalls, they just couldn't not have her. She's a real head-turner!
